East English Village and the Alger have been selected by the Detroit Institute of Art's (DIA) innovative art outreach program, Inside Out, for summer of 2016. The program places reproductions of DIA artworks in exterior locations around SE Michigan. Look for art and additional fun programming starting in August.

We're throwing open the doors for visitors once a month starting May 2016. Come and see the auditorium aisle lights...working for the first time in 30 years...and other amazingly small but super important improvements that we have made to this historic theater. Tours are free and open to all. No reservations required, just show up at the corner of East Outer Drive and East Warren between noon and 2 p.m.
